DOS 2 is now in the golden era of its modding and currently has over 2000 mods available - but that's already pretty high number, and not everyone may have time to scout through all the mods, see which are working properly and which are not, which from similar mods are up-to-date and which are obsolete, check for compatibility etc. With the release of Definitive Edition, this already incredible game received much better modding capabilities which keep growing, with more and more next-level mods appearing. This guide is a result of many walkthroughs and hundreds of hours played in DOS 2 with different mod setups. If you want to support me in this time, darkest since the beginning of the invasion - hop at my Patreon page to help me gather enough funds - to be able to get through this winter despite the blackouts. With your help, I can buy a powerful generator, enough fuel and fix my health with a pretty simple surgery, on which I simply don't have funds now. Stress because of the war and my inborn health issues also didn't become better during this time. During blackouts, not only basic things like shower or cooking are not available for me, but I also can't work - work to bring you new content. My last blackout lasted almost 3 days - 3 days without electricity, water and heating at winter. It launches dozens of missiles not at our military bases, but at critical energy infrastructure. While the world now knows: the victory of Ukraine is only a matter of time, the terrorist state of russia, in denial of this, resorted to thing it does best - terrorism. So basically I just decided to go from the back of that gate which is guarded, and till I didn't defeat everything and opened that door, the cat wasn't around and couldn't die.The most important status update since the beginning of russian invasion.Īs many of you know, I'm Ukrainian. And on lv7 it was pretty easy to kill those lv4 enemies, then I lockpicked the door of the Fort with Sebille (Thievery lv2 was on her), killed Magister Captain Trippel and others on the yard, then went to that gate where is Magister Borris etc, defeated them and tadaaa, the cat arrives and nothing can kill it. So at the end, I just used wayward travel to the Hollow Marshes Bridge, and from there I went to the docks where are some Magisters with the dead Gareth (who was selling Aero books, and wanted me to help him in escape with Teleportaion skill). If you are interested how did I do, the secret is just this: I killed almost everything on the island, I defeated Alexandar when I was lv7, but then I decided not to leave the island yet, cause I wanted to finish some quests first, and also wanted to go back for those guards and get some more exp. So you can just run around, discover everything, kill everything, and when the path is clear you can go back to Fort Joy Square, kill the guards, and THEN escape with the cat (however it seems like sticked to the Red Prince for me, so I got the cat summing skill with him, when he doesn't even have Pet Pal skill.). The fact is that the cat can't use wayward travel, so if you leave the guards alive, and don't escape through the bridge at the beginning of the game, then it won't be able to follow you. I found the Sanctuary, where Letha (or what's her name) got off the collars of the party and then I just focused to level up. What I did: after I escaped from prison, I didn't go back to Fort Joy, instead I went to discover the whole island, and started to gain exp etc etc.
